took place in March 2009 at the Eskom Leadership Development Centre in Midrand, South Africa. It was attended by 19 participants from various DFIs as well as a few members from the government of South Africa.

The target group were drawn from project managers, business and investment analysts, marketing and sales specialists, contract negotiators, financial managers, human resource specialists and general managers are ideal candidates for this programme. 22 participants attended the programme which was held at Eskom Leadership Development Centre, Midrand, South Africa from 9th -11th June 2009. The partner institution here was Jack Quinlan and Associates, Knysna, South Africa and DANIDA.
This programme was undertaken at the request of CEDA for its staff. Seventeen (17) staff, all from CEDA, attended the programme and among these were portfolio executives, sectors support managers and coordinators.
The Project Management programme is the first of three that the DFRC will be facilitating for CEDA this year.
This is a one-week programme aimed at enhancing project management skills of DFI staff using lectures and case studies and employing computer-based programmes for the quantitative and analytical work. It is planned to take place between 31st May and 4th June 2010. The DFRC has agreed that the Peter Tobin Consultancy will deliver the course content, under the leadership of Dr Peter Tobin, a qualified Project Management Professional.
This programme was held at the Protea Waterfront Hotel in Centurion, South Africa. The programme was organized in collaboration with the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa, and the Development Bank of Southern Africa. It coincided with the Operational Risk Forum of International Financial Institutions, which was taking place at the DBSA at the same time.
