About This Event
The SADC DFI CEOs’ Forum is the premier annual gathering of Development Finance Institution leaders across the Southern African Development Community. The Forum brings together Chief Executives, policymakers, development partners, regional institutions, private sector actors, and industry experts to advance dialogue on infrastructure development, regional integration, industrialisation, and sustainable economic growth across the SADC region.
Over two days, participants will engage in high-level strategic discussions, share practical experiences, and explore opportunities for coordinated investment and partnerships. The Forum will provide a platform for strengthening the role of DFIs in mobilising public and private capital, supporting bankable regional projects, and accelerating the delivery of transformative infrastructure and industrial development initiatives across borders.
Key areas of focus will include financing regional infrastructure corridors, Special Economic Zones, public-private partnerships, blended capital, climate finance, risk mitigation instruments, and deeper collaboration among DFIs, governments, development partners, and private sector stakeholders to advance the regional development agenda.
The Forum is being co-hosted by the Development Bank of Southern Africa, the Industrial Development Corporation, and the Land and Agricultural Development Bank of South Africa, in collaboration with the SADC Development Finance Resource Centre.
