Eswatini National Industrial Development Corporation (ENIDC) is a public enterprise established through the National Industrial Development Corporation of Swaziland (NIDCS) Act of 1971, for promoting industrial development in Eswatini. It adopted the new name in 2021 to align with the change of the country’s name.The Corporation became dormant in 1986, but was revived in 2012 when Government decided to stimulate economic growth and employment creation-through enhanced industrial development.
ENIDC is mandated to establish, facilitate, promote, guide and assist in financing of existing and new business undertakings as well as provide financing for expansion, better organization, modernization and efficient operations in existing businesses. It is a nominated manager of Government’s non-controlling stakes in various private entities and has been assigned as custodian of some special sector development funds.
