The Chief Executive Officer of the SADC Development Finance Resource Centre (SADC-DFRC), Mr. Zwelibanzi Sapula, undertook a courtesy visit with Mr. Woel Lala Herilaza, Chief Executive Officer of SONAPAR (Société Nationale de Participation), in Antananarivo, Madagascar.

The meeting provided a platform to explore opportunities for enhanced collaboration between SADC-DFRC and SONAPAR, with a shared focus on strengthening local Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) and amplifying their contribution to Madagascar’s economic development.

Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to advancing cooperation in key areas including investment mobilisation, capacity building, and the promotion of sustainable economic transformation in Madagascar and across the SADC region.
