The SADC Development Finance Resource Centre proudly recognises Mrs. Malefo Kawanza, Head of Finance & Partnerships, for representing the Centre at the 3rd Meeting of the Task Force for the Review of the AADFI Prudential Standards, Guidelines and Rating System (PSGRS) for African Development Finance Institutions.

Convened by the Association of African Development Finance Institutions (AADFI), the meeting took place from 17–19 August 2026 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. As a valued member of the Task Force, Mrs. Kawanza has made significant contributions to the review process, supporting efforts to strengthen the standards that guide the governance, financial sustainability, risk management and operational effectiveness of African DFIs.

Her participation reflects SADC-DFRC’s commitment to contributing to continental initiatives that strengthen development finance institutions and enhance their capacity to deliver sustainable economic and social impact.

We recognize Mrs. Kawanza on this important contribution and commend her for representing SADC-DFRC in this significant continental undertaking.
