As the SADC Development Finance Institutions CEOs’ Forum 2026 comes to a close, we reflect on a powerful week of dialogue, collaboration, and regional leadership.
From 9–13 February 2026, development finance leaders, policymakers, and institutional partners convened in Luanda to strengthen cooperation across infrastructure, critical minerals, climate finance, PPPs, and regional industrialisation.
The main conference held on 12 February marked a defining moment of strategic alignment among DFIs, sovereign institutions, multilateral partners, and central bank leadership.
The Forum concluded with a Guided Sightseeing Tour of Luanda, celebrating not only partnership, but the cultural richness and hospitality of Angola.
