Driving regional integration through collaboration, innovation, and sustainable development finance – COMFI 2026
Day 3 of the SADC Committee of Ministers of Finance and Investment (COMFI) Meetings in Harare, Zimbabwe, held from 29 June – 01 July 2026.
As discussions on regional integration, economic resilience, and sustainable development financing continue, the SADC Development Finance Resource Centre (SADC-DFRC) remains proud to play an instrumental role in advancing the region’s development finance agenda.
Through its mandate of strengthening Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) across the SADC region, SADC-DFRC continues to contribute meaningfully to conversations that shape innovative financing solutions, regional cooperation, and inclusive economic growth.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Ms. Angele Makombo N’Tumba, Deputy Executive Secretary of SADC Secretariat, for ably leading the charge and ensuring that SADC-DFRC remains at the forefront of these important engagements. Her visionary leadership and unwavering commitment continue to reinforce the Centre’s instrumental role in driving conversations around regional integration, development finance, and sustainable economic transformation across Southern Africa.
Representing SADC-DFRC at COMFI 2026 are Mr. Zwelibanzi Sapula, Executive Director; Ms. Chazha Macheng, Executive Officer & Strategic Stakeholder Relations; and Mrs. Malefo Kawanza, Head of Finance and Partnerships. Their participation underscores SADC-DFRC’s commitment to strengthening regional cooperation and advancing development finance initiatives that deliver meaningful impact across the SADC region.
