Annual Report 2024
The Sub-Sahara African (SSA) region, spurred by the post
pandemic global economic recovery, notwithstanding
different country outcomes, continues to grow consistently.
According to the International Monetary Fund World
Economic Outlook, global output is estimated to expand
by 3.3 percent in 2025, shy of 3.2 percent registered in
2024. Over the same period, Sub -Sahara African countries
are projected to grow by 3.7 percent in 2024 and up to
4.1 percent in 2025. However, the relief that had been
expected from the easing monetary policy cycle and the
attendant reduction in interest rates by central banks, led by
the United States, is yet to fully materialise.
