The Chief Executive Officer of the SADC Development Finance Resource Centre (SADC-DFRC), Mr. Zwelibanzi Sapula, participated as a panellist at the SADC Green Bond Programme Workshop held from 25–26 March 2025 at Avani Gaborone Resort & Casino.

The two-day workshop, themed “Sustainability Workshop on Mobilising Capital Using Thematic Instruments in the SADC Region,” was hosted by the Committee of SADC Stock Exchanges (CoSSE) in collaboration with FSD Africa. It convened key stakeholders from across the region to explore innovative financing mechanisms, including green bonds, aimed at supporting sustainable development and strengthening climate resilience.

Through its participation, SADC-DFRC reaffirmed its commitment to advancing regional integration and mobilising impactful capital through strategic partnerships and forward-looking financial instruments.
