SADC-DFRC was pleased to contribute to a panel discussion at Chobe Connect 2026, held in Kasane, Chobe Region, Botswana from the 30th-31st of March 2026. The session, anchored by First National Bank of Botswana Limited, brought together key stakeholders to explore practical pathways to unlocking investment across the region.

The discussion highlighted the importance of strengthening trade corridors, aligning policies, and building resilient regional value chains as key enablers of sustainable growth.

A central focus was the need to enhance project preparation and mobilise appropriate financing to move projects from concept to bankable opportunities, critical to unlocking investment at scale.

SADC-DFRC remains committed to advancing these priorities through its work with DFIs and partners, supporting coordinated approaches that translate opportunities into implementable, high-impact projects.
