The SADC-DFRC recently met with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to explore areas of collaboration on public-private partnerships (PPPs), investment frameworks, and access to climate-aligned financing across SADC.

The engagement brought together Christoph Schmidt (GIZ Country Director: Botswana/SADC), and the DFRC team comprising CEO Zwelibanzi Sapula, Malefo Kawanza (Membership & Partnerships), Tsholofelo Senwelo (Donor Relations), and Bryan Masheleng (ICT & Digital Transformation).

The meeting underscored the importance of regional partnerships in strengthening institutional capacity, enabling environments, and resource mobilization to drive sustainable development and inclusive growth.
