The SADC – DFRC recently engaged with Mr Dumisani J. Msibi, Group Managing Director of FINCORP – Eswatini Development Finance Corporation, to deepen institutional and regional collaboration.

As a government-owned development finance institution and founding member of the SADC DFI Network, FINCORP continues to play a critical role in expanding access to finance for underserved communities, supporting SMEs, and driving inclusive economic growth in Eswatini.

The engagement highlighted strong alignment with DFRC’s mandate, particularly in:
• Capacity building and institutional strengthening
• Financial inclusion and SME development
• Resource mobilisation for inclusive finance programmes
• Digital transformation and innovation in development finance

The discussion also recognised Mr Msibi’s continued regional leadership, including his role in advancing SME financing initiatives across the Network.

This engagement marks an important step toward building impactful partnerships that enhance access to finance, strengthen institutions, and support sustainable development across the SADC region
